EV charging at home is Better for the environment and better for your purse, so what’s the catch?

Currently it is not just getting a little more challenging due to global issues and shortages to be able to get petrol from our nearest petrol station, but prices are rapidly going up is definitely a huge problem. Unfortunately, petrol prices are getting higher and higher and they will not gonna do down for sure.

People are encouraged to use public transport, walk or cycle, however many of us still need to use a car to be able to get to work, appointments, shopping, school drop offs etc.

We must keep in mind that older cars are going to be banned from busy towns and central locations, and rules are going to get much tougher for environmentally not friendly vehicles in the near future.

So what’s the catch? There isn’t any really, as those who need to use a car will have to look for a cost effective and best alternative. Electric vehicles are getting ever so popular in these days and age for two main reasons: better for the environment and better for our purse. It is significantly cheaper to charge our Electric vehicle at home and charging is getting more simple, easier and quicker than ever. Some newer chargers can charge in a matter of a few hours, at the comfort of our own home, whenever we want to charge our EV, it is going to be ready for us. EV batteries last for days, even weeks without the need of charging again(depending of usage, driving style etc), is really appealing for future Electric Car owners.

More and more Councils than ever investing in electric buses in the UK. In many countries in Europe there are cities, who went full electric on their public transport already and councils using electric only vehicles for waste collection and other services, to reduce air pollution, and be as cost effective as possible. In other words, cities can not rely on the availability and price of petrol forever. So why would you?

Relying on petrol is a huge issue, which we all experienced recently and probably will in future.
